The purpose of shortlisting a candidate is to thoroughly review resumes and identify those who closely match the job requirements. Screening follows, involving detailed evaluations like initial interviews, calls and assessments to filter the shortlisted candidates further. This process ensures that only the most qualified candidates proceed to the final stages of hiring.

To shortlist and screen a candidate, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the main navigation header bar and click on Jobs.
- Access the list of all job listings, then click on any Job or click on the three-dot button and select View Job to be directed to the Job Summary page.
- Review the resume carefully and shortlist a candidate by clicking on the accept. This action will move the candidate from All-Candidates stage to shortlisted.

- After shortlisting candidates, you can screen them by calling or scheduling an initial meeting.

- Select a candidate from the shortlisted stage and click the checkbox to see options for calling or setting up a meeting.

- After screening, you can add a screening note for the candidate from the Notes tab in the Action window.
