Manage and Authorise a User
Control who can access the system by managing and authorising users, assigning roles, and defining permissions as needed.
Make sure to complete all the steps below to manage users effectively.
Here's an elaboration on the purpose of each setup step:
- Step 1. User Management & Licensing Overview: Manage who can access the system, monitor usage, and control access based on your licence plan. With clear visibility and role-based permissions, you can maintain security, optimise licence usage, and ensure accountability across your team.
- Step 2. Create Internal Staff Employees: Create employee records to manage details of individuals officially hired by the organisation. This helps document their roles, responsibilities, and employment information within the system for efficient staff management.
- Step 3. Invite Employees: After creating an employee record, send an invitation by assigning the appropriate role and access level, allowing them to log in and start using the application.
- Step 4. Application Roles and Authorisation: Define user access and permissions within the system based on roles such as Internal Staff or Client. Page-level controls under Master Data → Access Level let you customise who can view, edit, or manage documents according to role-based access levels.
- Step 5. User Access Requests: Manage and control who can access the system. Users can request access for teammates, while Admins or Super Admins review and assign appropriate roles and permissions, ensuring secure and authorised access.
- Step 6. Add a Team: Group users with similar roles or responsibilities to streamline permission management, access control, and collaboration. This helps organise tasks, workflows, and data efficiently, improving coordination across the organisation.
