Contact a Person
Contacting a client contact is vital for maintaining and enhancing your company’s relationship with the client. It helps you understand their current needs, challenges, and business goals, allowing you to provide tailored solutions. Regular contact also enables you to gather feedback on their experience, identify areas for improvement, and make necessary adjustments.

To contact a person, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the main navigation header bar and click on Contacts.
- You will see the list; select the ones you want to contact and click on the three-dot button on the top right side of the screen.
- Click on Send Mail or Send SMS as per your needs.

To use the SMS feature, start by integrating Kudosity from the Marketplace. Enter the API URL and API Key provided by Kudosity for seamless integration.

Contacts - Send Mail or Send SMS
- To send an Email specific contact, click on the Email.
Contact Summary Page - Email or SMS
- To send SMS, click on the SMS tab.
The SMS tab facilitates two-way SMS, enabling bi-directional communication. It allows you to both send and receive text messages, promoting interactive and responsive communication between you and client contacts.

- You will see the SMS Credit Balance on the top.
SMS credit are payment units that determine how many text messages you can send, each SMS (up to 160 characters) or multipart message consumes one or more credits. In XeopleRecruit, you can manage SMS credits in two ways: you can purchase them directly through your client account, or the XR team can buy credits from Kudosity (SMS) and allocate them to you.

You can pick any of the contact’s phone numbers from the drop-down list (if multiple numbers exist). It defaults to the main number if no SMS has been sent, otherwise, the last number used for SMS is shown. Simply pick a different number if needed, SMS will go to whichever number you select. Add one or multiple contact numbers under View Summary>Personal Details>Phone Number.

Click the Insert Template button to choose an existing template instead of composing a new message and click Send.
