Add a Lead
Creating leads means adding prospective clients who’ve shown initial interest but aren’t yet active clients. It helps you stay organised, manage your client pipeline efficiently, and ensure no opportunity slips through the cracks. With targeted and timely follow-ups, you can nurture these relationships and increase the chances of turning leads into long-term clients. Tracking leads also provides insights into the conversion process, helping teams focus their efforts where it matters most. Ultimately, it simplifies client management and paves the way for stronger business growth.

Information: You have two ways to create a lead in the Xeople Recruit CRM. Click on Leads in the main navigation header bar to add a lead or use the quick add job panel located on the top left of the navigation bar.
To add a Lead from the Leads options in the main header bar, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the main navigation header bar and click on Leads.
- Click on the (+) button.

- This action will open a create lead pop-up. Fill in all the required fields and click Save.
Note: The Add Lead pop-up will display three fields by default, with an option to add additional details by clicking on View more fields.
Note: The Lead Name must be unique across both leads and clients. If you enter a name that already exists in the system, a prompt will appear stating Name already exists, requiring you to provide a unique name.
Information: The Lead Workflow field is a mandatory single-select dropdown, populated with active workflows from the Lead Workflow Master. The Status field will default to NEW LEAD and remain disabled, preventing any modifications. This status will be derived from the Status master.
Information: Lead Generated By will be an optional single-select dropdown field, populated with a list of active users invited to the application. Lead Generated on field defaults to the current date and allows users to select any date, including current, past, or future.

Information: This lead will be added under the selected workflow which was choose at the time of creating a lead.
