GDPR
The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) feature helps organisations manage candidate and employee data in compliance with data protection and privacy regulations and enables requesting approval for data processing while maintaining transparency in data usage.
The GDPR feature is used to:
- Request and manage consent directly from the system.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Maintain accountability of personal data usage.
To enable GDPR, follow the steps below:
- Click on the Profile picture and select Administrator from the drop-down menu.
- Click on GDPR Compliance from the left navigation panel.
- Enable the GDPR toggle to activate the further settings. This will enable the Request GDPR Consent button on the Candidate and Employee Summary pages.
- Enable the GDPR Settings toggle to apply the consent related settings. Once enabled it will show you further settings.
- Enable the Automatic Consent Request toggle to apply Candidate and Employee level settings.
- Click on the > placed in front of this setting. This will open the Automatic Consent Request pop-up.
- This has two options Candidate and Employee.
- For candidates, enable the toggle to automatically send consent requests to candidate(s) created manually or via job boards.
- For employees, enable the toggle to automatically send consent requests to employees created manually in the system.
- Click the > button next to the Consent Request Page Template to define the template used for the consent form page.
- Click the > button next to the Consent Request Email Template to define the email template used for sending consent requests.

- Once the GDPR is configured, you will see the Request GDPR Consent button on the Candidate and Employee Summary pages.
