Candidate VS Application Notes Log

Candidate Notes Log:

  • The Candidate Notes Log captures all notes related to a candidate across various job applications.
  • It includes general observations, interview feedback, communication details, and any other relevant information about the candidate.
  • Offers a complete view of the candidate’s interactions and history with the recruitment team.
  • Provides context for making better hiring decisions based on the candidate’s overall journey.

Application Notes Log:

  • The Application Notes Log records note specific to a candidate's application for a particular job.
  • Allows you to keep track of detailed feedback and observations related to a specific job application.
  • Facilitates more precise communication about the candidate’s performance and suitability for the specific role.

To navigate to the Applications Notes Log page, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to the main navigation header bar and click on Jobs.
  • Click on a Job Workflow and select a job from the list below.
  • Click on the three-dot button and select View Job.
  • To view the applicants notes log(s), click on the three-dot button in front of each candidate and choose Actions

Job Summary Page - Applications - Actions

  • You will see a link which says view notes on the top. This action will show you the notes log created against a candidate.
  • You will then see an Edit Notes link; clicking it will redirect you to the Job Notes section where you can make edits. This action will be recorded in the Job Log.

Notes - Job Log - Recorded

  • The Note(s) added against an application will be reflected in the right-hand side screen under the Job>Notes as well as in the Candidate>Notes. Similarly, the actions will be recorded in the Job Log as it is taken against a Job.
  • Additionally, the notes added against a candidate form the Candidate Summary>Notes section will also be reflected here.
