When configuring Broadbean from the marketplace, you can select only one plan type at a time—either Application Form or Email Apply—to post a job. Broadbean does not offer an option to choose the apply type when posting a job, as it allows only a single selection: either Email Apply (Quick Apply) or Application Form (redirecting to application form page). If this is selected in the marketplace and will automatically populate the mapped application form. FAQ's
**Some of my job boards are not appearing under Site options. What should I do?**
If a specific job board is not displaying under Site options, you’ll need to contact Broadbean directly. XR receives and displays the configuration data that Broadbean sends through, so any missing boards must be corrected by Broadbean.
**When I go to post a job, I see an error at the bottom of the Broadbean screen. What does this mean?**
If you see an error when attempting to post a job via Broadbean, it usually means either:
- Your Broadbean login is not correctly associated within the Broadbean marketplace setup, or
- The email address linked to your Broadbean account is incorrect.
Please contact Broadbean to verify your login and email details. Once Broadbean confirms that everything is correct on their side, contact the Xeople support team if the error persists.
**Can I expire a job in XR and it withdraws from Broadbean?**
No. If you close the job in XR, it will not withdrawn from the job boards and you will need to manually withdraw from there.
**How long does it take for my Broadbean job to appear on job boards?**
Once you click **Send Advert** in Broadbean, the job is sent immediately to the selected job boards. Most boards display the job within a few minutes, but some may take longer depending on their own processing times.
**Where do applicants appear in XR when they apply via Broadbean?**
Applicants who apply through Broadbean will flow back into your Inbox Stage of your workflow
**If I edit a job in Broadbean, will it update on all job boards?**
Yes. When you select **Edit This Post** or **Edit and Repost** in Broadbean, your changes will be pushed to the selected job boards. The timing of the update on each board depends on that board’s refresh cycle.
**What is the difference between Broadbean and individual job boards?**
Broadbean is the distribution platform that sends your advert to multiple job boards from a single interface. The job boards (for example SEEK or other niche boards) are the channels where candidates actually view and apply for your roles.
**Who should I contact if I have a Broadbean issue versus an XR issue?**
- For issues with job board availability, Broadbean login, or marketplace configuration, contact **Broadbean support** first.
- For issues where Broadbean has confirmed your setup is correct but errors still occur in XR contact the support team with details and screenshots of the error.
