Candidate/application source refers to the origin where candidate applications are received, such as Application Forms, Broadbean, SEEK, EOH, Xeople Smart-email, etc. This feature allows you to add, edit, or delete custom sources based on your needs. However, for sources created by others, you can only edit them, not delete. This customisation ensures tailored management of candidate data. Additionally, child sources linked to parent sources can be modified, providing flexibility to align sources with specific recruitment requirements.
Note: Child sources are automatically created based on existing parent sources, and users cannot manually add them. This ensures consistency in the system and maintains data integrity by linking child sources directly to their parent sources without manual intervention.
To navigate to the Candidate Source page, follow these steps:
- On the main navigation header, click on the Settings drop-down and select System Settings.
- Select Candidate Source.
- Click on (+) Add Candidate source this will allow you to add source name, description, status, tag and folder.
Note: The status field is mandatory and single-select, appearing as a drop-down menu with active statuses from the candidate status master. The system displays the status in the colour configured in the master.
Note: Status is tenant specific and cannot be configured at once across all tenants.
Note: Tagging and adding candidates to folders are now optional multi-select fields, with excess tags/folders shown as +3 more upon hovering.
- Click Save.
Note: Clicking Cancel discards changes, redirecting to the landing screen; clicking Save saves changes and redirects to the landing screen.
