Notes

The Notes section on the Candidate Summary page provides a centralised space for recording important candidate-related information, facilitating organised collaboration and informed decision-making throughout the recruitment process.

Adding notes against a candidate from the candidate summary page offers several benefits:

  • Notes allow you to record important information about candidates, such as interview performance, skills, and qualifications.

  • Notes can be accessed and viewed by team members involved in the hiring process, facilitating collaboration and informed decision-making.

  • Notes serve as a reference point for future interactions with the candidate, helping you track progress and tailor communication accordingly.

  • Notes added against candidates are often linked to specific job openings, providing context and insight into candidate suitability for different roles. This integration ensures that you have access to relevant information when managing job applications and making hiring decisions.

To add a note from the Candidate Summary page, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to the main navigation header bar and click on Candidates.
  • You will find a list of all candidates. By clicking on a candidate, you will be redirected to the Candidate Summary page. Then, navigate to the Notes section and click on Add New Note.

  • Enter the details in the respective fields and click Save.

Note: This section displays all notes added against the candidate. These notes are also logged in the Activity tab. Clicking on a specific note in the Activity tab redirects you to that note for detailed viewing.

Note: The Notes section allows you to mention employees using the "@" symbol followed by an initial letter, like "@n". This displays a list of employees or invited users. When mentioned, employees receive a web notification, indicated by a red number next to the bell icon. Clicking the bell shows the notification with the employee's name, message path, date, time, and options to mark as read/unread or delete.

Note: Additionally, a speech-to-text editor lets you add notes by speaking, making it easier to quickly update and share information.

  • To edit or delete a note, click on either the Edit or Delete option displayed next to each note.

Note: Use the filtering options based on Date, Owner, Category, and Filters to easily and swiftly search through notes.

On the left-hand side, notes are organised by month. Click on the notes section. If the notes do not appear, click on the left panel and select the desired month to display the corresponding notes created during that month.
