In this release, we have implemented significant improvements to the Email Integration screen under the My Profile section.
Key Changes:
- The order of operations has been modified. Users are now required to select their synchronisation preferences before connecting their email. By default, the second option – Email sent or received – will sync only with contacts listed in the application, disregarding any other emails.
- Calendar syncing now displays a timestamp alongside the last sync date. The date and time format adhere to the settings defined in Look and Feel – Date and Time Format section.
- A new provision allows users to sync their calendar for the last week. The optional “Days to Sync Calendar” dropdown includes numeric values ranging from 1 to 7, with the system defaulting to syncing from the current date if no selection is made.
- After selecting a sync option, the Email Connection section is enabled, allowing users to connect their email.
- The system syncs emails and calendars based on the user’s chosen options before connecting the email. If both options are selected, the system syncs calendars only for those whose email IDs are listed in the application.
- All other functionalities and validations remain unchanged.
- The Save button retains its role in saving the user’s settings based on the chosen options and the connected email.
UI Changes in Email Integration Buttons:
- The Disconnect option is now highlighted in red, resembling a button, to clearly indicate it disconnect functionality.
- This enhancement applies uniformly across all areas in the application where email connect and disconnect options are displayed.
