Master Data – Access Permissions
This section in Master Data lets you configure file-level access permissions in line with the user’s role access level. Permissions like View, Edit, Delete, and Download/Share appear in the file-level access pop-up based on what’s set here and in the user’s role access level. For example, if John has View, Edit, and Delete access in his user role access level but these are not enabled in Master Data – Access Permissions, he won’t see those options in the pop-up and vice versa.

How permissions appear under access while adding a file:
- Permissions shown in the pop-up are based on settings from Master Data and your role-level access. Select Public and Protected as needed, set your file permissions, and click Grant Access.
Permissions won’t appear in the pop-up while creating or editing a confidential file, as you have full access (View, Edit, Delete, and Download/Share) by default.
