New Features

1.  Marketplace Integration – Indeed

The Xeople Recruit Marketplace has activated a new integration, Indeed, introducing seamless integration for job posting. This new feature helps our users to effortlessly share job opportunities directly through Indeed, bringing added convenience and efficiency to their recruitment process.

Key Highlights:

  • Users can now post jobs directly through Indeed from the Xeople Recruit Marketplace platform, streamlining the job posting process.
  • Navigation: Users can access Marketplace Integration through Tenant Login → Administration → Marketplace → Partner.
  • Card Visibility: The Indeed card is now prominently displayed.
  • Enabling Integration: Clicking on Enable opens a new page.
  • The left side features the Indeed logo uploaded during Masters creation.
  • Description reflects the content provided during Masters creation.
  • Tabs Display: Snaps, videos, and contact details tabs are displayed as per the application’s functionality.
  • Get Started:
    • Clicking on Get started prompts users to input Indeed Integration details:
      • Client ID and Secret Key are now mandatory fields with a character limit of 100.
  • Save and Cancel: Clicking Save saves the record and displays Operation Completed.
  • Clicking Cancel closes the screen and redirects users to the previous screen.
  • Disconnect:
    • Users can disconnect from Indeed, triggering a confirmation pop-up with Yes and No options.
    • Clicking Yes disconnects the Indeed account, redirecting users to the landing screen.
    • Clicking No closes, the pop-up.
  • Update Settings: Clicking Update Settings redirects users to the Indeed Configuration page. Configuration details appear prefilled. Users can update details, and the Save the new settings.
  • Job Posting: Once the Indeed account is connected, clicking on Indeed during job creation or under manage job postings opens the job posting form.
  • Users can seamlessly post jobs to Indeed by submitting the form.

2.  Jobs – Indeed Edit & Modify Job Posting

Xeople Recruit users can now edit and modify the job posted on Indeed using Indeed Job posting form.

Key Highlights:

  • Edit & Publish Job on Indeed:
    • All fields are pre-filled.
    • User-editable fields include Email ID, Job Title, Description, and other relevant information.
    • Non-editable fields (Client Name, Holding Company, Application URL) appear pre-filled and disabled.
    • Status defaults to Complete, and Percentage defaults to 100%.
    • Validation checks are in place for all fields.
    • Users can choose to Cancel (redirects to job landing page, discarding changes) or Publish (re-publishes the updated job).
  • Back to Job Listing: Clicking “Back to Job Listing” now redirects the user to the job listing page.
  • Download XML: Clicking Download XML now downloads the latest XML file in the required format for the job posted on Indeed.
  • If a job has expired in the system, users cannot post/publish or re-publish it on the Indeed board.
  • XML feed update: This release also includes updates to the XML feed when editing/modifying published jobs:
    • Edit & Re-Publish Job on Indeed:
      • Re-publishing a job updates the job node in the XML feed with the latest tag values.
      • The last activity time is updated and inserted into the feed.
      • Job feed syncs when changes are saved in the job posting form, but updates or expirations reflect in Indeed only after synchronisation.
      • Jobs expired in the system are synchronised and removed from the XML Feed.

3.  Jobs – XML Feed Generation for Indeed Job Posting

Upon submission of the Indeed job form, Xeople Recruit users can now generate an XML feed.

Key Highlights:

  • On submission of the Indeed job form, XML feed generation is triggered.
  • Feed Components: The XML feed consists of Basic Feed Nodes.
  • Upon publishing a job, a Job Node is automatically created for each specific job. The Job Node is structured into two tables: Form Fields and Hidden Fields.
    • Form Fields Table: Contains fields whose values are inserted into corresponding tags from user inputs.
    • Hidden Fields Table: Populated with tags from values available/generated by the system for the specific job.
  • All dropdown values from the Master are included in tags as text values, not IDs.
  • Expired or inactive jobs are automatically excluded from the XML feed, maintaining data accuracy. Removal occurs after a job is successfully filled.
  • Each job is uniquely identified with a reference number, ensuring precision and clarity in the XML feed.
  • Publish Job Action: Clicking on Publish Job in the Indeed Job Post Form initiates the XML feed generation.
  • In case of modifications to a job posting, the system saves an updated feed with a timestamp reflecting the last activity.
  • XML Download Option: Users have the option to download the XML file after publishing for review.
  • Temporary Download Feature: The XML download feature is temporary and will be removed after Indeed integration completion.
  • Sync Duration: The syncing process may take up to 24 hours for changes/updates to reflect on Indeed.
  • Tag Details: Each tag in the XML feed has a corresponding explanation, including Form Field Name, Type, Description, and whether it’s Optional/Mandatory.
  • CurrencyPay TypeSalary Min, and Salary Max details are consolidated into a single <salary> tag for efficient representation in the XML feed.
  • The system seamlessly integrates with Google Location services to fetch accurate State, City, and Country information for inclusion in the XML feed.
  • Tag Values: Mandatory tags must have corresponding values, while non-mandatory tags may remain empty.
  • XML Feed Review: Users can review the generated XML feed, aiding in the verification process.
  • The XML feed supports a range of HTML tags, facilitating rich formatting options for job descriptions.

4.  Job Summary Page – Profile Update Option Added

Xeople Recruit now includes the Profile Update feature accessible within the three-dot button on the Job Summary page. Upon selecting candidate(s), this option becomes enabled, allowing the update of candidate information based on the global data. Any changes made to candidate information on the candidate summary page will be reflected by using the Profile Update button.

Key Highlights:

  • When candidates apply for a job through Seek, Form, Application Form, or Broadbean, the system presents the source information alongside the candidate, and the data in the candidate summary page is generated based on the information they provided during the application.
  • We have implemented a profile update option on the Job Summary page. Upon selecting candidate(s), this option becomes enabled within the three-dot button. Clicking the profile update option automatically updates the candidate data on the job summary page if there are modifications in the global data.
  • Furthermore, any updates to candidate details on the candidate summary page are seamlessly reflected on the job summary page by using the profile update feature.

5.  Xeople Search – Broadcast Job with EOH Members

Xeople Recruit introduces a new feature, enabling users to selectively broadcast jobs to specific members in the Entire OnHire pool. To use this, activate Entire OnHire via the Marketplace, integrate with Client ID and Secret Key (provided by the EOH team), and subscribe to Broadcast Job with EOH Member.

Now available on the Xeople Search page, this feature activates when a user selects a job with the job apply source set as EOHE and EOHP, and the Search pool is Xeople Candidate pool. Members can apply through the Xeople Application page, redirecting to the application form, or use the Quick Apply feature for direct application through the app.

Key Highlights:

  • The three-dot option list now includes a new feature Broadcast Job With EOH Members, which becomes available after selecting the candidates.
  • The Broadcast Job With EOH Members option is enabled or disabled based on candidate searched in the system.
  • An info icon provides guidance on the conditions required for successful job pushing.
  • Clicking Broadcast Job With EOH Members opens a pop-up with mandatory fields: SubjectDescription, and Apply Type.
  • Title field and the Description fields are mandatory.
  • Apply Type defaults to Quick Apply, with an informative static line below.
  • The Quick Apply option helps to share the selected job directly with the selected member(s). To share the job with the members through this option:
    • Provide the Subject and description of the job.
    • Click Save and the job is pushed to the selected member(s)/candidate(s) successfully.
    • In the Entire OnHire Member App, a push notification is received by the member(s) with the job details.
  • Member(s) can click the job notification to open the new job in the Xeople Job page. The new job shows Job Title, Job Type, and Location or in the Recommended Jobs in the left navigation panel of the Member App.
  • On clicking the new job, the member can:
    • Apply – Click Apply and the job is applied successfully. Members will receive email on successful & unsuccessful submission of quick apply.
    • Save Job – Click Save Job and the job is saved in the Saved Jobs tab. The member can apply for this job later.
    • Once you have applied for the job, it will be removed from the New/ Saved Job tab.
      • Read More – Click Read More to view all the available details of the job.
      • Delete – Click the delete icon to delete the job.
  • The Xeople Application Page option creates a link-out to redirect the member to the Xeople-hosted web application form. Similarly, as explained in Quick Apply provide the Subject and job description and click Save to push a job to the selected member(s).
    • Save & Apply – Click Save & Apply, to save the job in the Saved Jobs tabs and apply for the job. Members can apply for the job using the Xeople-hosted web application form and the job apply source is similarly recorded. Clicking Apply redirects members to the application form. Upon saving the form, the job apply source for the member is automatically recorded as EOHM across all application-level data. Move to Career page link is now positioned at the bottom of the screen, providing a direct redirection to the Xeople website’s career page.
    • Upon clicking the Save & Apply button, whether the member completes or bypasses the application form, the system now displays the status as Viewed.
      • Save Job – Click Save Job and the job is saved in the Saved Jobs tab to apply for the job later.  
      • Member can re-apply for this job for any additions/modifications.
      • Read More – Click Read More to view all the available details of the job.
  • Once applied for the job successfully, the Applied status is reflected in the Job Details and Saved Job.
  • Upon successfully applying for a job the members are create as candidates in the Xeople Recruit platform and assigned to the Job as applicants.
  • View job details will open a pop up on mobile screen and displays JD of the job.
  • Upon successfully broadcasting a job:
    • Recruiters will receive a confirmation message indicating the successful broadcast for a specific number of members (e.g., Job has been Broadcasted successfully for 2/10 members).
    • Recruiters can click the provided link to view the list of candidates to whom the job has been pushed.
    • Clicking the link initiates the download of an Excel file containing candidate names and email IDs.
    • In case of no action, the system will discard the operation.
  • Users selecting candidates and clicking to Broadcast Job With EOH Members will receive an alert if no application form is mapped to the job.
  • The alert message: No application form is mapped with this job.
  • It emphasises the importance of passing the Member key app to candidates extracted from Entire OnHire to Xeople.
  • When attempting to broadcast a job to candidates with a job apply source other than Entire OnHire, users will now receive a prompt message: No candidates found to broadcast job.

6.  Xeople Search – Broadcast Job – Email Template for Quick Apply & Job Log

Xeople Recruit users can now keep a record of job activities by maintaining a job log when a job is broadcasted. Additionally, the system is configured to send an email notification to the member when a quick application is submitted through the member app.

Key Highlights:

  • A message will now be displayed on the member's mobile device immediately after submitting a quick job application.
  • Email notifications will be sent to the member, providing detailed content for both successful and unsuccessful job applications.
  • The system will also maintain a comprehensive job log for each job broadcasted by a recruiter to EOH members, showcasing details like the recruiter's name (e.g., Neelam Singh), the member's name (e.g., Ashu Mainwal), and the broadcasting timestamp (e.g., 31-11-2023 12:34:56).
