Job Category
Job Category groups similar roles or types of work under a common label. It helps you organise jobs consistently, search and filter roles faster, and match candidates to the most relevant opportunities.
Common Job Categories
Below are examples of commonly used job categories:
- Healthcare & Nursing – Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Aged Care Workers.
- Hospitality & Tourism – Chefs, Bar Staff, Hotel Reception.
- Education & Training – Teachers, Trainers, Education Assistants.
- Professional Services – Accountants, HR Consultants, Business Analysts.
To navigate to the Job Category Master, follow the steps below:
- Click on the Profile picture and select Administrator from the drop-down menu.
- Click on Master Data from the left navigation panel and select Job Category under Job.

- Click on the (+) add button on the top left.
- Enter the required fields and click Save.
- Click on the three-dot button placed in front of each job category to edit or delete it.

Add Job Category – Save
- You can select the newly created Job Category from the Job Category drop-down when creating a job.
