Enhancement - Application-specific Data Handling

In this release, we have actively improved the system to store application-specific data when candidates apply for jobs through any source mode available in our application. This enhancement ensures a more robust and efficient handling of candidate application data, contributing to an enhanced user experience.

  • New Candidate Application: When a candidate is not yet created in the system and applies for a job via Seek, Application Form, or Broadbean, the data filled during the application process becomes both its Application-Specific Data and Global Data.
  • Returning Candidate Application: If a candidate is already in the system and applies for a new job through the same mode (e.g., Application Form, Broad Bean, Seek), the system now facilitates a streamlined process:
    • Application Form: For a candidate applying through the Application Form for the second time, fields such as Profile Picture, First Name, Last Name, Phone No, Address, Expected Salary, and Notice Period are now editable. Other fields remain non-editable. System populates missing fields from Global Data if the candidate didn’t provide them during the second application.
    • Broad Bean: Similar enhancements apply to candidates applying through Broad Bean.
    • Seek – Link Out / Native Apply: Application-specific data is stored based on the fields filled by the user during the Seek application. Missing fields are supplemented from Global Data.
    • Xeople Smart Email: For the first-time application, data parsed from the CV becomes application specific. For subsequent applications with updated CVs, the system parses and updates detail accordingly. Any missing fields are supplemented from Global Data.
  • Error Handling: In the event of incorrect parsing results, such as undefined values, the system now retrieves correct values from Global Data, ensuring accurate information is displayed in the candidate summary.
