Education Details

Education details refer to information related to a person's educational background, including their academic qualifications, degrees earned, institutions attended, fields of study, graduation dates, honors, and any additional certifications or qualifications obtained. 

The importance and purpose of recording education details can be outlined as follows:

  • Storing employee education details streamlines talent management processes, allowing you to access and manage all employee information in one centralised platform.
  • By maintaining education details, you can identify employees' educational backgrounds and skills, facilitating targeted career development opportunities and training programs to support their professional growth.
  • Having access to employees' education information enables you to accurately match employees' qualifications with internal job opportunities, ensuring that employees are considered for roles that align with their educational backgrounds and expertise.
  • Storing education details enables you to verify the authenticity of employees' academic credentials, ensuring that they meet the necessary qualifications for their current roles or future career advancements within the organisation.
  • Documenting education details helps organisations maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to employee qualifications and credentials. This ensures that the organisation operates ethically and transparently in its talent management practices. 

To navigate to the Employee's Education Details page, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to the main navigation header bar and click on Employees.
  • You can access the list of all employees, select an employee from the list, and either click on the three-dot icon to view the summary or directly click on the employee's name.

  • Upon clicking, you will be redirected to the Employee Summary page, where you can navigate to the Education section by scrolling down. 

  • Clicking (+) add will open up an Add Education screen.

  • Enter the details and click Save.

Note: Click on the Edit or Delete option if you wish to update or remove the experience.
