New Features
1. Client, Candidate and Contacts Landing - Proximity Filter
We've included a proximity search feature, enabling you to locate clients by entering an address and setting a specific kilometer (KM) range within that address as a permanent filter.
Key Highlights:
- A new Proximity button has been added to the List/Graph View on the Client, Candidate and Contacts Landing
- The tooltip indicates Proximity Search when hovering over the button.
- Clicking on it, opens a pop-up screen, the pop-up includes two fields:
- From Location which is Google pin location.
- Proximity within (distance) for specifying the KM range.
- An arrow icon allows you to adjust the KM.
- The pop-up also includes Search and Close
- Upon entering the address or postal code, the system fetches the latitude and longitude of the location from the backend. Using this data, the system searches for nearby clients within the specified KM range.
- In case of clients, after the search, the system displays the nearby clients based on proximity. A new Proximity column has been added to the Client Landing page, showing the proximity in the result set. Records with the least proximity are displayed at the top, and the count is shown dynamically. A cross icon allows you to remove the proximity filter.
- Similarly, in the Candidate and Contacts sections, a new Proximity column is placed after the location field, showing proximity details.
- You can set a maximum 8-digit integer value for the proximity field. Negative values and decimal numbers are not permitted.
- In the Client Landing page, the Proximity column appears after the full address column. In the Client Graph view, it is displayed after the Client Name
- Proximity Search is a permanent filter, retaining its settings even when you leave the screen and return.
2. Speech Voice Command – Across Application
We have introduced a Speech Voice Command feature that helps you to input text into rich text editors by speaking instead of typing. This feature uses advanced speech recognition technology to accurately transcribe spoken words into text, offering you an alternative method of text input across the application.
Key Highlights:
- For instance, upon accessing the Notes section, you will observe a newly added voice command button within the editor. Simply click on the microphone icon, dictate your note, then click to close the microphone button. The feature will then convert your speech into text, facilitating hands-free note-taking.
3. Home – Web Notifications
We have implemented a web notification system to display all notifications pushed to the application. When you click on the notification bell icon, you can view the count of new or unread notifications.
Key Highlights:
- Upon clicking the notification bell icon, a pop-up screen will appear containing all notifications categorised into All and Unread. The Unread category will be highlighted and shown in bold. You can switch between categories as needed.
- When you receive new notifications, a small pop-up message will appear informing you of a new notification, along with the profile picture and name of the user who tagged you. If multiple notifications are received simultaneously, only up to four notifications will be displayed in real-time.
- The pop-up screen will feature the following elements:
- Profile Picture / Initials: Displays the profile picture or initials of the user who initiated the event.
- All: Shows all notifications, including unread ones. Unread notifications will be highlighted and in bold. Clicking on a notification will mark it as read.
- Search: Allows users to search for specific notifications using keywords.
- Time: Notifications will display the time elapsed since they were received, with formats ranging from minutes ago to days ago.
- Actions: Mouseover actions include Mark as read and Delete for each notification. Clicking on Mark as read will mark the notification as read and remove it from the Unread
- Notifications will be categorised into Today, Yesterday, and Older, based on when they were received. The system will load at least 8-10 notifications on one screen, with the ability to scroll down to view more.
- Each notification will redirect you to the relevant section and open the specific note or comment in view mode.
- Additionally, notifications for activities such as creating notes from job actions or from candidate, client, or job sections will be categorised accordingly and will redirect you to the appropriate activity screen.
